"Je deale comme un con" par Mill
[ Répondant à l'appel à textes en hommage au gonzo journalisme, Hunter S. Thompson, Mill nous propose un vieux texte retravaillé pour l'occasion, un souvenir de jeunesse, semble-t-il, au style relâché et aux anecdotes fleurant bon le bon vieux joint des familles. On ne voit pas trop le rapport avec Thompson, si ce n'est les références à la drogue. L'histoire raconte la mise en place d'une entreprise de deal lycéen par deux bras cassés vite dépassés par les événements. On soupçonne un fond de vérité là-dedans, ce qui explique peut-être un manque de dramaturgie et une absence cruelle d'apothéose. ]

[ Superbe texte d'un nouvel auteur sur la Zone, un certain Lionel Favennec (dont on se demande s'il ne s'agirait pas de Clacker sous pseudo), dans le cadre de l'appel à textes en hommage à Hunter S. Thompson, journaliste gonzo inventeur du genre. Un must, à lire absolument. Une fois n'est pas coutume, je laisse à l'auteur le soin d'en dresser le pitch : "Février 2025. Un journaliste freelance désabusé, autrefois enflammé par la prose de Hunter S. Thompson, est embauché pour écrire un papier sur le « retour du Gonzo » à l'occasion du vingtième anniversaire de la mort du maître. Mais le projet tourne au trip délirant. Envoyé à une fausse conférence de presse dans un hôtel miteux à Ibiza par un obscur magazine en ligne décadent, il tombe dans une spirale d'excès et de paranoïa, hanté par le fantôme de Thompson lui-même. Le héros, à moitié lucide, décide de partir à la recherche de l'esprit du Gonzo, qui selon lui, se cache quelque part entre les ruines du capitalisme numérique et les vapeurs d'ayahuasca (breuvage à base d'écorce de lianes du genre Banisteriopsis utilisé par les chamans des tribus amérindiennes d'Amazonie pour se relier au monde des esprits). [ Comme souvent avec HaiKulysse, les images s'enchaînent ici dans un défilé continu où les semblants d'intrigues se croisent et se repoussent dans un flux incessant où il ne se passe finalement pas grand chose. Répondant toutefois à l'appel à textes en hommage à Hunter S. Thompson, le pape de la gonzo littérature, HK met en scène le journaliste frappadingue aux prises avec un monolithe sacré où repose le Docteur Gonzo. Ah, j'oubliais: les Nazis ont gagné la troisième guerre mondiale, on est en plein 4e Reich, et il existe une nouvelle drogue, nommée la "Beuze", développée par les fafs pour asseoir leur domination sur le monde. On y croise aussi des visions lysergiques, des reptiles scrutateurs et des considérations politiques générales. Un sacré bordel. On a le droit de se laisser porter. On a le droit de s'endormir, aussi. ]

[ Le problème avec ce texte, c'est qu'on a deux adjectifs pour le prix d'un. Abrupt pour l'avatar, "Dépravé" pour le titre du poème. On a vite fait de confondre l'un et l'autre parce qu'il faut bien être un petit peu dépravé pour nous envoyer ce machin pour le moins abrupt. Manifestement, on enchaîne les rimes, certaines hilarantes, le plus souvent plates et éculées. La trame ? Il y en a une, cousue de fil blanc. Je vous laisse le soin de la déflorer. ]

Le résultat ressemble à une incursion particulièrement immersive dans l'univers de "Crossed", série de comic-books gore initiée par Garth Ennis (dont l'auteur de ce texte de présentation recommande ardemment la lecture). Au programme, le kidnapping en pleine orgie de sexe, de drogues et d'alcool, d'un Pierre Palmade en proie à un priapisme encombrant, par une bande de djihadistes décidés à le juger, puis à l'exécuter au milieu des dunes du désert syrien. Suit une intervention de GI's, menés par un officier familier des sketches de l'humoriste. Phrases longues, ouvragées, parfois un rien sinueuses, rythme oscillant entre le lancinant et la lourdeur, un texte assez carnavalesque, violent et brut, parfois boursouflé aux entournures. Parmi les derniers arrivés sur le site, il fait partie des rares à savoir mener une histoire à son terme tout en maintenant l'attention et en sans se priver d'écrire dans une langue maîtrisée, parfois carrément enthousiasmante. Ici, le récit s'attache à la croisade d'une certaine Olympe de Bazouges. Sauf que pas tout à fait. Il y a un changement de perspective au milieu de l'histoire. On suit également la logique putassière d'un chasseur de clics inconsistant, prêt à propager la vulgate d'extrême-droite dans l'objectif avoué de collecter des milliers de vues, de like, de partages.
